Ashley & Jacob – A Spring Engagement at Home on the Farm

Some love stories are best told in the places where they began—where memories were made, roots run deep, and the horizon always feels full of possibility. That’s exactly what made Ashley and Jacob’s engagement session so special. We spent the evening on their family farms, and I can’t think of a more meaningful way to capture their love.

With spring just beginning to bloom around us, the entire setting felt like a reflection of what this season—and this season of life—represents: growth, change, and new beginnings. The soft green fields, golden light, and budding trees created a naturally beautiful backdrop, and their pup Case, but what made it truly magical was Ashley and Jacob themselves.

From quiet moments to playful grins in front of old barns and that perfect golden hour light filtering through the trees, these two radiated connection and comfort. You can tell they feel most like themselves when they’re together—and most at home in the wide-open spaces they know so well.

One of my favorite shots is of them walking up the driveway like they are walking into the future, already knowing the best is yet to come. And it is.
